What counts as a "conference" in ConfTrack?
Any event you attend for business purposes — industry conferences, trade shows, meetups, summits, or workshops. If you spent money to attend and hoped to get business value, it counts.
How do you calculate ROI?
ROI = Revenue Attributed ÷ Total Cost. You log the revenue you can attribute to the conference (deals closed, partnerships formed), and we divide by your total spend (ticket + travel + hotel + other). Simple and honest.
What if I can't attribute exact revenue?
That's fine. You can log 0 revenue and still track other outcomes like hires made, partnerships formed, or learnings applied. The ROI calculation is most useful when you can attribute revenue, but the outcome log is valuable regardless.
Can I export my data?
Yes — Starter and Pro plans include CSV export. Free tier is read-only after you hit the 1 conference limit.
Is my data private?
Yes. All data is stored locally in your browser (localStorage). We don't have a server storing your conference data. This also means clearing your browser data will clear ConfTrack data — export regularly if you want backups.
